VINEYARDS
The total area occupied by the vineyards
of our region is 3,500 hectares (about 8,650 acres).
The main varieties available to us
are: Prieto Picudo, Tempranillo, Mencía, Verdejo
y Malvasía, also grown: Garnacha and Caberbet
Sauvignon.
The maximum designated output is 7,000
kilos per hectare of red grapes and 9,000 kilos per
hectare of the white varieties.
